About Kadamai Foundation
Founded in 2012 by Mr. C. Vasanthakumar, Kadamai Trust runs six welfare programmes across Chennai and Tiruvallur. During COVID-19, we launched India's first Free Oxygen Ambulance Service, saving 780 lives. Kadamai Saranalayam, our free old age home, is the heart of it all.

Kadamai Saranalayam was born from one belief: no elder should be left without a home, care, or dignity. In Manali, Chennai, we offer abandoned senior citizens completely free shelter, healthcare, and companionship. Every resident here is treated as family. Every life here matters.

Mr. C. Vasanthakumar
Born and raised in North Chennai, Mr. C. Vasanthakumar has spent over 20 years in community service. In 2017, he turned that commitment into Kadamai Saranalayam, a free home for abandoned elders who have nowhere else to go.
Since 2000: 25+ voluntary blood donations.
Since 2017: Registered NGO with 80G tax exemption.
